Georgian Rectory Renovation – Private Residential Project in Bath
This private residential project in Bath, Somerset, involved the renovation of a stunning Grade II listed Georgian rectory, originally built in the late 17th century. With its historic charm and architectural significance, the home called for a sensitive blend of traditional materials and modern design elements.
Reclaimed Flooring for a Rustic Yet Refined Finish
We were commissioned to supply and install reclaimed plank flooring throughout the property. The aged texture and character of the reclaimed wood complemented the home’s original features, reinforcing its historic charm while contributing to a more contemporary interior feel.
To complete the renovation, we also installed natural stone in the kitchen and bathrooms. The stone surfaces were carefully selected to match the tone and elegance of the space, adding a refined, durable finish to these high-traffic areas.
Blending Heritage with Modern Comfort. The combination of reclaimed wood and stone played a key role in the overall design vision: a seamless fusion of historic detailing and modern living. The result is a timeless, elegant home that respects its past while embracing the present.
