St James’s Place – Contemporary Wood & Stone Finishes in a Luxury London Apartments

This high-end residential project in St James’s Place, London, involved the manufacture and installation of bespoke wood flooring and natural stone throughout a number of luxury apartments. The design brief called for a clean, contemporary aesthetic with elegant material choices to enhance the minimalist interior design.

Contemporary Herringbone Wood Flooring

We supplied and installed dark-toned contemporary herringbone flooring across the apartment. The deep, neutral finish provided a sophisticated base that complemented the overall colour scheme and minimalist palette, while allowing the owners flexibility to layer in their own furnishings and decor.

The herringbone pattern introduced a refined texture and visual rhythm, serving as a statement feature in each room and elevating the clean, modern spaces with a subtle nod to traditional craftsmanship.

Natural Stone for Bathrooms and Staircase

In the bathrooms, we installed light-coloured stone surfaces, carefully selected to enhance the sense of space and brightness. The tones worked harmoniously with the rest of the apartment’s neutral palette, creating a serene and open atmosphere.

A standout feature of the project is the black stone staircase—a bold and elegant accent that greets residents and visitors upon exiting the lift. This striking entrance detail adds a layer of drama and luxury, setting the tone for the home’s overall design.
