In 2015, we were commissioned to design, manufacture, and install bespoke flooring for Club Monaco’s flagship store in Sloane Square, London. As a high-end fashion brand known for its clean, classic aesthetic, the brief called for a floor that felt both timeless and contemporary—an antique-style wood floor with a whitewashed finish.

Two Elegant Flooring Styles: Parquet de Versailles & Chevron

– To meet the design criteria, we produced the flooring in two classic yet distinctive patterns:

– Parquet de Versailles, installed in select areas to evoke heritage and grandeur

– Chevron, used in other sections of the shop for a sleek, directional feel

– Both styles were crafted with a light, cool-toned antique finish, adding a refined and elegant backdrop to the store’s white and soft blue interiors.

– Statement Floors for a Sophisticated Retail Space

The result was a series of stunning statement floors that complemented the minimalist, upscale aesthetic of the store while enhancing the architectural flow between spaces. The intricate patterns of the parquet and chevron flooring added visual depth, while the pale tones kept the atmosphere open, airy, and inviting—perfectly in tune with Club Monaco’s luxury branding.
